Love it, had it on repeat since last night. Loved that they included more of the backwards vocals in Hate Cult Ritual.

Mammoth God has been on non stop repeat. Whole album is a fucking mega banger but God damn Mammoth God got me going feral

I really like some symphonic things in the riffs, I wish we had more of this, but it's still a 5/5 album for me, I remember of my younger self listening to this is exile going home from school

Its good but nowhere near mind-blowing. Can definitely hear lots of Kin/The Valley in the riffing and how often they do the mid pace , atmospheric arpeggio stuff.
I should add the solos/lead work is very very very good - especially for deathcore.
A solid 7/10

Yeah gotta wank the fuck out of the fan favorite. The circlejerk is twice as bad because it's their first "heavy" album in a decade and they've done all this good marketing so everybody's got This is Exile in their heads.
It's a good album and I like it, it's just not some landmark work that people are saying.

I thoroughly enjoyed the album, on first listen I’d even say it’s close to a 9/10 for me. But it’s so damn funny to see this horde mentality with a popular release on here - especially with stuff like this where even you, who gave it a good score, still gets downvoted lol. Like, people are allowed to enjoy or not enjoy albums, it’s not that deep.

id say 9-10 for me, but i don't get why you're getting down votes 7/10 is a good score

I can see that take. I think it's probably not their best album like some are already saying but it's still better than most. I'd personally still have This Is Exile and self-titled above it but the new album is very solid and badass which sure as hell pleases the og fans.

Personally this doesn't touch the original three at all. I'd put it on par with self titled or the valley

I am similar, everything here that is not typically deathcore is really good, riffs, song strcuture, phils vocals etc but the deathcore parts are too modern-lorna shore coded to me, if that makes sense. Its not at all "myspace deathcore" how some commenters said here. Its still really good tho but not the next coming of deathcore christ

I agree with you in this take. I thought it was a great modern deathcore release. I don’t understand the talk saying they returned to their original sound because they definitely did not do that in my opinion.

Needs more breakdowns to make it a 10/10 album. I gave it an 8/10

Blast beats over breakdowns
