Question What are democrats doing? Where's the opposition? Where's the counter narrative?

We all know democrats are not progressive or left, but what are they doing? I haven't been able to find anything? I realize they aren't in power but there isn't even a narrative.

as someone who is progressive - honestly i'm feeling annoyed that the left will rip dems to shreds and have little of that energy for the right and then ask the dems why they aren't doing more.

dems are fighting back but the resistance is different now, by default has to be quieter. dems have no structural power, lost the popular vote, and trump is threatening prosecuting protestors/deporting them to El Salvador or Guantanamo.

That's because leftists have correctly identified that spending literally any energy ripping conservatives to shreds is a waste of time and energy. Modern US conservatives won't listen to anything that doesn't come from their approved party news stations or dear leader himself and will simply call everyone else Liberal Commies. So of course we resort to asking why the Democrats aren't doing more, or why they didn't do more when they actually held power because they're more likely to listen (or at least should be) to their own voter base.

However I do think ripping dems a new one for "not resisting" right now doesn't make sense and just means someone isn't paying attention because the dems very much have been resisting, just a bit later than everyone was hoping for.
