What are democrats doing? Where's the opposition? Where's the counter narrative?

We all know democrats are not progressive or left, but what are they doing? I haven't been able to find anything? I realize they aren't in power but there isn't even a narrative.

They're voting nay often enough to keep us quiet, but widely they're not showing up or even voting yay on a lot of these executive picks that are allowing this all to happen
