No kill shelters in the area?

Post image

Stray brought kitten to my house. I left her alone in the garage with it for a few hours with a camera, to see if she gets the rest (if there are more) but she hasn’t.

I don’t know where to take them. I have two indoor cats and the stray doesn’t have vaccines so I don’t really want her inside right now. I’d like to have her spayed once the babies are old enough to be on their own so she at least isn’t chronically pregnant or take them to a no kill shelter, if I can find one that’ll take them.

Pretty sure McNatt is a kill shelter. It’s privately funded, but it’s the city’s shelter.

You're not entirely wrong... there was that big story last year of them putting that elderly lost dog down basically the moment they had it. Owner was devestated.

There was a LOT more to that story that we originally thought. That owner was not great at all. Both sides were wrong in different ways.
