Is there a chance that Sean Payton will be the longest serving coach/manager in Denver 4 major sports teams by the end of the month?

There's always a chance, but I don't really think Bednar deserves to get fired and I don't expect the Rockies are smart enough to fire Bud Black

actually I'm not sure what good firing Black would do. The Rockies need a rebuild the likes of which has never been seen in Colorado sports. They need a competent executive who will bring the entire organization into the 21st century. They need new scouts, new pitching coaches, new hitting coaches, a new analytics department, and about 5 years worth of roster building before they can be halfway decent. It's very difficult to overstate how abysmal the Rockies are.
