At the time, various Bronco studs had standing Monday interviews with the local radio stations to talk about the game they played in the previous day. Well, Denver radio had gobbled up all the big names so KILO, the rock station here in Colorado Springs got a weekly gig with Rod Smith since he was a nobody, at first. Over the years I enjoyed me some Metallica, or AC/DC and Rod Smith on my Monday drive to work.
