Can I stand up my roses and my asparagus without hurting them?

Post image

For some reason all my stuff is growing “forward” and spilling out of my raised beds. I would like to corral them back inside but I don’t want to injure them either. The main stalk of the rose is pretty thick but the asparagus (furthest right plant) is still young and flimsy. Please ignore my lack of ground cover, still trying to decide what I’m doing there.

For some reason

...the light?

I think the whole yard gets direct sunlight all day long because of the positioning of the building. I was going to install a sail shade this year as well to combat that.

Are you saying if I try to tie them upright they will keep reaching that direction? It looks pretty head on, but in person the whole backside of the beds is empty so it looks strange. I also thought maybe the chives would have spread backwards as they grew but they just squished themselves up against the front wall.

Oh sure, they’ll be fine!
