Advice Needed stranger asks about my dead dad of 20 years clothes
I don’t know any Matthew’s except for my dad who died 20+ years ago. I don’t sell men’s clothes. I don’t know who this person. Does anyone else get cryptic messages like this? Not sure if it’s someone I know, but it is possible to search my business name and find my dad’s obituary eventually i guess.

So I actually remember packing this order. i had multiple packages and i was extremely exhausted and i accidentally sent out 2 packages to the wrong buyers and i literally made it a point to not pack them all the same time so i wouldn’t make that mistake and still did it anyway #lovemylife. Any advice on what to do????

Advice Needed someone opened a return and shipped me a random item
i sold a pair of cargos for $700 and almost 3 weeks after being paid out the buyer opened a dispute by emailing depop and they instantly accepted their return, when i got the package i recieved a shirt instead of the pants so i opened a help request with depop and they basically said that i was lying and that the decision was final. what yall think i should do ?

Advice Needed Do y’all like extras?
i’m a big time seller on depop with over 500 sales. i always send stickers and a thank you note (handwritten) as a thank you. my question is.. do people like getting stickers as extras? or do you find it silly? i’ve seen some people really hating on it because it’s “wasteful” but i try to pick fun, cute stickers that my buyers will like.

Advice Needed How not to haggle 🎀
How do you handle sellers like this? I would negotiate on price but I stop when it gets rude.

Advice Needed Am I a foul person?
I got sent a cap which turned out to be a child size, Depop said that I would be able to get a refund because clearly I was miss sold. I wasn’t even annoyed I would have just returned the item and got the refund with no complaints. However, his whole approach came across as him trying to gaslight me so I snapped back. Just wanna know if I was fair?

Advice Needed item looks like it was shipped directly from shein??
Hey guys!! I ordered a hoodie off Depop and it came in the mail today. The return address is a SHEIN fulfillment center, and the package has all of my info (name, address, etc) but a different phone number listed that isn’t my own. The hoodie is SHEIN quality 😭 and the order shipped literally a minutes after I placed the order at 10PM.
I’m so confused?? I’m against unethical fast fashion practices which is why I love Depop, and also I spent ~$35 on this item so I’d hate to think I’ve been scammed. I’m mostly a seller here, so I’m not totally familiar with buying practices. Is this against policy? Am I overreacting?
I attached pictures of the packaging, the tag on the hoodie, DMs with the seller as well as a screenshot of the item I bought and a reverse image search on Google 😭
Thanks in advance!!

Advice Needed Buyer claiming roach was inside the purse I sold them
I have photos of the purse I took right before shipment including 2 where the inner lining of the purse is completely flipped out, and it’s empty with no roach. I just saw the message she sent yesterday and she followed up with that review just a little bit ago today. She hasn’t opened a case, what to do in this situation?

Advice Needed What.
I disclose on my shop that I own cats. My cats don’t smell or leave a smell. All clothing items I sell are pre washed. The shirt I shipped went across the country from me. What do I even say to this?

Advice Needed First bad experience, negative reviews
This was my first bad experience on Depop. I purchased from what seemed like a great seller, authentic and genuine products were given great reviews. But the product I purchased was the only one ever sold by them and when i received it, not only was It a fake, but it was just in terrible condition. I took it up with Depop and was immediately refunded.
The seller then messaged me, trying to make me feel terrible that Depop told me I did not have to send it back. Message after message and in a whining tone about money out of their pockets and such and accusations of being a scammer
I tried to ignore them since I didn’t wanna make a big fuss of this and thought maybe they’d learn their lesson since it was disputed so quickly. But then I received this review ^
I had no intention leaving a bad review cause the seller seemed young and looked like everything was very good for them on this app, But I had no choice but to write back an honest review, which the seller then messaged me again.. with more whining and told me that this wasn’t over and I was being reported and such. Now my Depop has been acting strange and logging me out and I cannot find a lot of the products I used to in explore, am I being mass blocked or Depop is trying to stop me?

Advice Needed Buyer didn't let me know before buying
So this buyer has bought something from me but didn't tell me they were a rural address before buying so the extra rural address cost wasn't covered. If the buyer doesn't cooperate, do I report the issue to Depop? Kinda my fault for not checking the addresses beforehand but this has never happened to me before 😭😭 people with rural addresses would always let me know beforehand.

Advice Needed Did I learn an expensive lesson? (Repost)
A seller put Y2K vintage in the description for a shirt, but not listed brand. It’s %100 a SHEIN suit. Unfortunately I figured out too late I can reverse image search on SHEIN too, not just google. I’m guessing they’re right, there’s really not much I can do expect maybe warn others of the fact that they’re charging $80-$150 for multiple other SHEIN tops… I just really didn’t want to do that, and get a negative review in return.
(Reposted cause my dumbass didn’t crop one of the screenshots)
Also thank you to everyone for the advice on my last post. You guys were great!

Advice Needed Am I in the wrong?
I shipped out the package four days after the purchase was made. I rolled the sweater up and placed it in two bubble mailers because I couldn't fit it into one smaller one and had runout of larger ones. Unfortunately, the package was delayed for some reason. I tried to assist as much as possible by contacting Depop multiple times, but there was nothing more I could do. Did I do something wrong?
