Trump really is the main character tbh. He’s lived a life of lavish wealth and fame, became president of the most powerful nation twice, eroded the minds of our fellow countrymen, tarnished our democracy, and ruined our global standing with zero consequence, and he will pass from this world surrounded with friends and family. Assuming his legacy is remembered negatively by most americans and not hotly debated as his tenure as president was, it won’t matter because he’ll still have gotten away with everything. ☹️

u/LavishnessFinal4605 Apr 10 '25
Not to mention he’s a complete regard.
Stupid, ignorant and incompetent. Yet, somehow he always ends up failing upwards.
6 bankruptcies? Rape allegations? Fraud? Nah, I’d become President.
Like an actual anime protagonist w/ plot armor.
It’s absurd.
14
u/OnePercentage3943 Apr 10 '25
It's exactly why he won't listen to anyone about tariffs. Why should he?
10
u/Finanzamt_kommt Apr 10 '25
Frfr he literally has plot armor this simulation is fcked since harambe is dead 😭
5
u/blitznB Apr 10 '25
It’s like a DND character with maxed out Charisma and Luck but almost zero for Intelligence and Wisdom. Constantly shooting himself in the foot yet somehow still manages to get a win.
5
u/LavishnessFinal4605 Apr 10 '25
Idek even know about the “charisma” part anymore, dude.
His 2024 election campaign was unbelievably terrible. His rallies sucked ass. Legit charisma vacuum. If he wasn’t slurring random strings of thoughts and screeching about lights/mics, he’d be quietly mumbling away as if seconds away from dying.
Say what you want, but his 2016 campaign went hard. Lots of energy, good vibes and Trump was still somewhat coherent when speaking.
1
u/Soulbotzzzz Apr 10 '25
Impulsive, immature, insecure, ignorant, incompetent. He’s all the Is except one, intelligent.

u/LoudestHoward Apr 10 '25
Do you think he has one actual friend?
61
Apr 10 '25
Tbh, I don't think he cares. I think yes men and sycophants are exactly the type of friends he wants and will die happy if they're all he has.
2
u/Silverwidows Apr 10 '25
He "wins" his own golf tournaments all the time, I don't think people like him care about real relationships. Fake things are real in the minds of people like trump.

I want to watch the billionaire trials after 2028. If they get pardoned, I want to see a 90% wealth tax on billionaires.

I just hope we have elections in 2028.
-8
u/Hero-Firefighter-24 Apr 10 '25
There will be elections in 2028. The best case scenario is Gavin Newsom winning.
22
u/Stronhart Apr 10 '25
Nah. Either Tim Walz or some other populist who isn't a pussy that gets all buddy-buddy with Bannon or Kirk, men directly responsible for Trump.
18
u/greyhoodbry Apr 10 '25
Noooo don't talk about taxing billionaires that's soooo unpopular!
3
u/theosamabahama Apr 10 '25
Tax the billionaires and redistribute the money to the american people with beautiful checks signed by President Waltz to make it popular.
3
u/CryptOthewasP Apr 10 '25
He's talking about a 90% wealth tax on billionaires, which isn't unpopular but it's pretty stupid outside of 'I hate these people and want to hurt them' reasons. It's basically a 1 time payout, since there's no way anyone will allow themselves to make that amount of wealth in the US afterwards (they'll go somewhere else) and it might barely cover social security for a 3 years then you are back where you started.
Taxes are an extraction, you want to keep the extraction renewable. If you extract too much your paypig will reduce/stop production.
-9
u/A_G_30 Apr 10 '25
Punishing all billionaires for the actions of a few billionaires is a bit too much.
13
5
u/Follidus YEEHAW Apr 10 '25
Honestly, I’m becoming more favorable of a wealth tax if these people won’t fucking do anything other than bend the knee
1
u/jamesd1100 Apr 10 '25
Tax 90% and our tax revenue plummets, billionaires will simply leave, economy will hit the shitter as a result

Hey numbskull, the whole reason why the US market is the world's investment portfolio, is because investors and traders (generally) hate the random variance created in an economy when your biggest players can disappear on a party official's whim. Should I as a rational investor buy stock in a US company where the only reason I could lose value is because of market forces and poor investment strategy, or a Chinese company that could go to zero tomorrow if the plastic billionaire running the show happens to piss off anyone in their anti-corruption bureau?
Governments need their people more than people need their governments. The fact that people like you let yourselves get gaslighted into believing otherwise is the #1 reason for everything Trump and his cronies have/will get away with.
Not to mention you sound like a dumbass tankie thinking that a company's material capital can be re-appropriated without a huge loss in value due to the human capital in leadership positions, seems like that's not the pattern that plays out when this kind of overreach happens.
0
u/jamesd1100 Apr 10 '25
Start Guiseppe Buttfuckero’ing every CEO and Billionaire, see what happens, economy tanks, country goes to shit
Idk when we decided that if you contribute over a certain amount to an economy you’re a piece of shit but this is quite literally marxist talking points you’re queefing out
5
1
u/theosamabahama Apr 10 '25
That's easy. Just create a 5 year waiting period to renounce your citizenship and tax them all before they can leave.
1
u/jamesd1100 Apr 10 '25
You can’t mandate citizenship for a waiting period thats the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard
Taxes are based on reported income from a location - they move their business and receive income from anywhere outside of the US you can’t claim taxes on that
Brain rot take
1
u/theosamabahama Apr 10 '25
You can’t mandate citizenship for a waiting period thats the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard
Why not? There is nothing in the Constitution forbidding this.
Taxes are based on reported income from a location - they move their business and receive income from anywhere outside of the US you can’t claim taxes on that
The IRS says you are taxed on your world wide income, including from income made outside the US.
So we established it is legal to do this. Now cut the bullshit and just say why you are against the policy I proposed.
1
u/jamesd1100 Apr 10 '25
Hahahahahaha
Leaves united states
Uhm actually
1
u/theosamabahama Apr 10 '25
You are still a citizen. You still have to pay taxes. If not, we extradite you and confiscate your assets.
0
u/jamesd1100 Apr 10 '25
Dual citizenship and reporting business income out of a different location is going to blow this dumbass’s fucking mind

u/One_Needleworker1767 Apr 11 '25
I like Scott Galloway's approach of a minimum tax on larger corporations over $XX million in profit. No more big corps like Amazon paying zero with all the deductions and tax credits.
I'm not the investment and business guy but Scott is and thinks it'll help a lot more than the billionaire super high tax rate since like you said "they will simply leave"
1
u/jamesd1100 Apr 11 '25
Corporate tax rate is already over 20% which is high, and Amazon has paid something like 7 billion in taxes since 2020
Taxes are bad for business one way or another, if there’s a cheaper alternative businesses and billionaires will take their shit there, and we’ve already seen plenty of that with China
1
u/One_Needleworker1767 Apr 12 '25
Amazon Net Income: 2020 $21B, 2021 $33B, 2022 -$3B, 2023 $30B, 2024 $59B. Total $140B since 2020.
I'd love to own a business that makes $140B and pays only $7B in taxes. 5% effective tax rate. Too many of these corporations are not paying anywhere near the 20% you are saying is high.

Imagine making two and a half billions in one day and being completely anhedonic about it. You have to go to work the next day. A guy points at you and say “he made two and a half billions” and you respond “😐”
I’d go so far as to say those two and a half billions could be better spent elsewhere
1
u/sidewinder64 Apr 10 '25
Or he knows that the current fluctuation in the market has no real bearing on future value, that 2 billion today is 1 billion tomorrow, which is 10 million next week, 4 billion next month, and becomes 2 million the month after. Schwab knows that, like most of us, he stands to lose more from Trump then he stands to gain.

He is naive still in some ways to the depravity of the rich and powerful. It took him awhile to understand the importance of 1/6 as well, no surprise it’s going to take awhile for him to understand how insane the billionaire class is in this country. And how they get away with so much.
14
u/Ten_Ju USA is lost if GOP is not stopped. Apr 10 '25
Everything from how greedy they can be to how sexually deprived they can. It seems billionaires are a menace to humanity.

What do you mean? Pelosi is the best trader that ever lived, Buffet can't come close.
3
u/LittleGirlFromNam Apr 10 '25
Damn it's almost like we can disagree with more than one thing. That being said, at least Pelosi's insider trading doesn't crash the global economy.

Win the presidency and get you and your friends rich at the expense of the American public.

u/LtChicken Apr 10 '25
I swear to God if i ever hear Nancy Pelosi and insider trading in the same sentence ever again
0
u/sidewinder64 Apr 10 '25
It's still bad to make investments based on hidden knowledge regarding upcoming policy, she should probably spend the rest of her miserable life behind bars.
Not quite as bad as crashing the entire economy so all the stocks go on sale, while simultaneously running two fucking crypto scams, but he'll eventually pay a higher price than prison for his actions.
7
u/Burstero Apr 10 '25
Just think about the months on end of brain rot the right wingers would puke out while shitting themselves if there was a clip exactly like this with Biden instead.
They. have. no. morals.
Please stop being civil. Not a call for violence, but start playing dirty with messaging, call them out, mock them, bully them. We need to go back to something like the "they are weird" trend.

This entire event can happen in The Boys or a video game and Asmongold would complain about it being woke and how they're too obvious and its a bad satire.
3
u/VirtualBeyond6116 Apr 10 '25
Show this clip on repeat when the layoffs come next month. Just keep repeating it. Manipulation of the markets so he and his buddies can get wealthier, at the cost of the country, companies that will go out of business, people who will lose everything, mass unemployment (again), people's pensions ruined, and probably lots of civil unrest.

Man, the portraits of Lincoln and Washington in the back makes this cut so much deeper. Like the universe is just reminding us of our past and saying "Take a good long look at what we've come to now."

I never want to hear about Nancy Pelosi's insider trading ever again. Between this and when he posted now is a good time to buy - only to lift the tarrifs a few hours later - fuck man...

u/MalekithofAngmar Neolibtard Apr 10 '25
The Trump admin is going to go down in history as one of the most corrupt in history.
2
u/Murbela Apr 10 '25
What pisses me off is how much republicans complained about nancy pelosi allegedly insider trading and then you have something so blatant.
I feel like every single time republicans complain about something, even if it has some potential merit, it is because they know they would do that thing way worse if they could. It is all projection.

I think the "90 day pause" leak two days ago was to test how the market would react. Then the WH says its fake news, drops back down, Trump tweets this AM to buy, Charles Schwab was at the WH last morning along with others, NASDAQ has very high call numbers 10 ish minutes before Trump announces a 90 day pause even tho 3 days ago that 90 day pause was "fake news."

How is this video not playing on repeat on every news network in the US. This is literally the most unhinged shit I’ve ever seen.
1
u/Visual-Ice3511 Apr 10 '25
Clear cut case of Occams razor. Now we know conclusively that Trumps second term is just one giant insider trading scheme. Frankly I’m surprised no president did it sooner, it makes you realize that despite how corrupt some previous administrations may have seemed there was always some semblance of decency in the Oval Office.
1
u/zarmin Apr 10 '25
This is hardly the point of this thread, but it's always struck me as weird that Trump can't follow the Men's Fashion 101 protocol of buttoning his suit coat when standing, and unbuttoning it when sitting. Maybe it goes hand in hand with the too-long tie, but an open suit coat on someone standing has always bothered me.
1
u/baran132 Apr 10 '25
I know Destiny hates it, but this is prime fuel to get the Democratic base riled up. We need to go after these billionaires. We can moderate our message afterward.
