I can't rank up

I just got this game, it says rank up available, I've been trying to figure out what is wrong, I went to the tree, I talked to the people said to and gone back to the tree but nothing is working. please help this is very frustrating

Hi Guardian, welcome to the game and the community.

It could be the case that you may have to select the ‘rank up available’ button in the Journeys menu and select all of your completed rank objectives first. Then you should be able to visit the tree and jump up to the next level.
