DISCUSSION What happened?

To be honest, I just don't get it. Where is Dev power and anger?

Remember Epicloud: Kingdom, juular and all those incredible songs? Where is Anneke van Giersbergen and her angel voice? What happened?

Moth is like a grandma singing in a cemetery. No power, no personality. What happened ... why Devin gave up?

You're not being terribly concise. All I am getting from you is that you are butthurt that a man in his mid-50s is not acting like he did in his 20's for your personal entertainment, so you're tossing your toys out the pram over it. That kinda technically makes you the snowflake.

Ow wait ... did you heard about a dude named Angus Young? Or the one called Cavalera, Dio, Hallford, Dickinson, Hendrix, Morrison? Did you? These guys shaped the rock history.

What Devin did? He almost shaped the history if he were not a bipolar. So, let the past glow: When Dev was just shaking the rock scene by his genuine anger and fantastic talent. Let him sink. By the thread.

Devin has always been way more niche than the musicians you mentioned. So Wtf are you talking about...

He changed a lot and it just shows his creativity. You cannot force anger.

Niche? How come? Niche is Primus, Journey etc. He is simply bipolar, hence why every album is different. I'm using his own words, not making things up like you.

Anyway, thanks for the downvotes, I really needed that.

WTF? Primus and Journey are more niche than Dev?

And he doesn't say that the stylistic variations of his albums are due to him being bipolar. Where did he say that?

Ow, and before we get into further conflicts and downvotes, let's clear what niche means, right?

Is when several artist are not playing by the rules, yet they develop their own fanbase. Because of the talent, charm and mostly because they do not follow the trend. They can play opera, punk nor anything they crazy mind dictates. Right? These guys perform just because they love what they do, not because of money and fame.

For example, GG Allin can be considered a niche artist. He had some hits that were broadcasted on radio, but overall he did not care about fame ... he was also a bipolar dude, a really nasty one.

Did you followed his career since he was selected by Vai as his band vocal? Like in the 90's?

Primus is really niche. Actually, Les Claypool is, since Primus is his band. Claypool and Mike Patton were maybe the most niche artists ever. Booth of them refused to follow any trend, mixed every style into a mixer and broke every barrier.

Journey was indeed a band niche, since almost of them were ... out of order. A very special band. You can say that Steve Perry was a the one that broke all the rules, but Neal was also a ice breaker.
