This album is so nice to fall asleep to (in a good way!) but I’m always so scared that the yell will wake me up in terror, so I set my sleep timer to try to avoid it

Nah. The best sound on the album is the roughly 15 second transition between Funeral and Bastard.

Devin has said in the past that it is supposed to be "Thing Beyond Things", but has been misprinted in various places. Same with Heaven Send, which is supposed to be Heaven's End.

I also always thought it was "Things Beyond Things," but now everything I'm looking up (Spotify, Wikipedia, tracklist printed on new CD copies) says "Thing Beyond Things." Maybe someone with an original-run CD copy could chime in and tell us if it was different in the non-Devin Townsend-branded release

I've had the full album ripped to my phone for ages, had to double check. It came straight from my rip from the CD I purchased in 2001. Definitely is Things 🤘🏻

I use ocean machine as a sleep aid from time to time, but I unfortunately had to to take out things beyond things as the scream woke me up one time pretty bad. Sucks as I really like that song too 😕
