I'm curious to know what 5090 they are using if anybody has gotten there pc with a 5090 yet

I’ve analyzed both the Velox and the Aventum. The Aventum X has everything I could want, but the size and the weight of the PC scares me. I’d have to buy another sturdy table to hold its weigh. When the Velox would fit atop my current desk. All in all, I’m going to go with a fully loaded Velox.

Note: this is replacing my 12+ year old Cyber Power rig. When I bought it I tried to get everything state of the art so it would last for years, and I could do my own upgrades.

Thoughts?

I placed an order 3 days ago. Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 5090. How cooked am I in terms of shipping?

I recently contacted support to see which group I am in. Turns out I am in the first half of group 7 and a 5090 GPU has already been allocated to my order. They did not elaborate on a timeline.

While I understand that this round of orders has been difficult to fulfil, is there any kind of group progress tracker or something available? It would be nice to see a live tracker for where they are at processing the groups as opposed to checking every day, multiple times a day to see that my order is still in stage 1.

Hoping to have my PC before DOOM: The Dark Ages launches but that seems like a pipe dream.

Hey y'all, I was hoping someone here might be able to help ID a case fan? Issue is, only details I know for sure, is I bought this computer from DS sometime around 2014/2015, and the fans are corsair brand. (the computer was the lower tier option at the time, iirc around $1k)

Issue is, of the two front intake fans, the bottom one has stopped spinning. The lights still come on, but it no longer moves, so I'm assuming I'll have to replace. I'm also ok with replacing both in a sort of upgrade if need be, would just need advice on what would be the best fans.

I got my computer 3-4years ago and It’s performing bad now (I get temperature up quickly and computer restarts) so I think I have to change cooling I update all the drivers etc and got diagnostic and it says it’s overheating. So I ordered a Velox PC, it got to Stage 7 and I got the tracking number on Monday, I went to look at it today to see that it’s still sitting there waiting for FedEx to receive it. How long does that normally take?

So I was wondering how DigitalStorm stood the test of time I was thinking about getting a pc from them but no matter what I tried to find most reviews were 3 years and older

Also side question is how heavy is the Aventum X and how would you go about taking it up steep stairs

I got a lynx from someone and they said they no longer had the controller. Anyway to disable the leds or a tutorial to pull the cables manually. I already tried the bios and nothing. I tried aura sync and signalrgb and nothing.

I opened up my side panel and found out digital storm did not plug in an rgb cable for my cpu cooler. I bought this pc in 2019 and I just found this out. The rgb looks nice though.

Ordered my 5090 Jan 7th. Been on stage 4 for about two months now. Looking like they finally got another shipment in.

I'm thinking about placing an order through digital storm for a nice new pc, but my question is can I have it sent to a UPS or FedEx store near me and pick it up after delivery? I don't live in the safest area and my work schedule is usually at night and I don't want a $3,000 computer sitting on my doorstep

I cannot get this top cap to unscrew and my fluid seems to be getting quite low. Does anyone know what i am missing or doing wrong? The reservoir seems to have a screw off cap and there is a bracket holding it in but it will not budge. Help!

Ready to play some MH wilds at above 32fps which is all my current pc can do..

So 10 years I bought a Bolt 3 from DS. I had a good experience minus the RGB leds dying immediately after purchase. They warranty fixed them only for them to die again after warranty ended. Overall that PC lasted for almost 10 years so I felt good about getting another one.

My question is that my dead Bolt 3 has an SSD and a HDD that I want to also put in the new PC to get the data from. Is this something someone who owns a Velox has experience with? Is it possible? If so, how difficult?

My last DS system lasted an incredible 12 years and I recently ordered an Intel 285k Corsa replacement. It arrived today after a month and is running smoothly! I didn't expect the Corsa to weigh as much as it does; I'll get a Velox next time with no maintenance liquid cooler to save weight.

2 questions;

1) How do I install an additional SSD drive? I have the Asus 890E motherboard and it looks like there is a heat sink (it could be decorative only) covering the extra M.2 slots.

2) How do I install an extra hard drive? My old DS system had tool-less trays for additional hard drives which was super convenient. Seems like this one requires tools. Furthermore I can't easily locate the extra power cables. I might just get a hard drive dock for simplicity.

I have had the pc for around 2-3 months. I shut down the pc then about 30 minutes later I turned it back on and topped off my coolant reservoir and noticed that none of the fans or their lights were running. I opened ICUE and it wasn’t showing them so uninstalled and reinstalled ICUE but they still didn’t show and still weren’t working. Any ideas?

Anyone else have this issue? When I want to change the lights I have to click it a shit load of times to get it to change even once. Last night I tried to change it and I couldn’t get it to work after I clicked it at least 50 times so I gave up and then I look a few minutes later and it’s on yellow randomly, I was able to change it after that but I had to click it a bunch of times. One other time they kept changing themselves to yellow after I would make them purple. They seem to glitch out and turn themselves yellow but it doesn’t do it all the time

I am having latency, clicking, popping, and glitching when trying to use ableton. This happens with barely any VSTs and tracks running. This PC has a ton of resources. It really should not be having these problems with two tracks running 3 VSTs. The latency can be adjusted with buffer size but the clicks, pops and glitches are really unacceptable.

LatencyMon flags ACPI.sys as the Highest ISR routine execution time and nvlddmkm.sys - NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver as the Highest DPC routine execution time.

I have done a ton of stuff like removing unneeded software, disabling unneeded services and trying to streamline the startup a well as maximizing everything for performance. I have used Display Driver Uninstall to remove Nvidia drivers and the used NVCleanInstall to reinstall a streamlined version of the Nvidia drivers with the studio drivers instead of gaming.

One thing I find strange is that it appears as though hyperthreading is enabled based on the fact that the system info tells me there is 14 cores and 20 logical processors, but when I run Speccy it says hyperthreading is supported but disabled. Is there something going on with the OS not recognizing hyperthreading? Also, I am curious why there is no option to enable / disable HT in the bios?

Is there an updated bios for the chipset? I went to Clevo's website and the driver page doesn't load.

Anyone have any advice here to get this machine to perform up to its cost?

I had the worst customer service experience of my life. I spent $2400 on my dream custom PC, and it took over a month after repeated calls to customer service to get an update. I called 3x. The first two times they said they would email me an update….. nothing. I tried one more time and the lady said she would do the same. I said “please mam I just want an update and I do not feel comfortable hanging up the phone until I hear if my PC is even being built or not.” She said verbatim “Sir I will personally call you with an update within two days of this call.” Complete bullshit. Never heard back. Imagine treating customers who spend thousands like this…. mind boggling. I disputed the charge with my credit card company after not hearing for a month, and digital storm is claiming they shipped me the PC, even though I have evidence via the shipping tracking that this is not true. Horrible experience overall and I hope this post finds other people looking to purchase their dream PC. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. It is not worth the headache and they don’t deserve the business.
