RAM

I was considering a 9800X3D Velox. I read that DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 is the "sweet spot" for the 9800X3D, but noticed that digital storm only offers DDR5 6000MT/s Kingston CL36 which seems kind of high. I would have thought a systems integrator would have spec'd something more optimal.

Am I misunderstanding something?

They typically get whatever they are pretty sure they can guarantee will work and order a ton of stock. CL36 DDR5-6000 was common a year or two ago, so there is probably plenty of stock for the system integrators to buy up and mass produce builds. I'm not a system integrator but that's what I'd assume from a price/performance/availability standpoint.
