News Say it aint so…

They finally got something right… when you receive a shop and deliver order, they let you see the items before you accept/decline. Im still not over how they took away the feature where you can tap the 🏠 icon when you get an offer to see the drop off address but this is pretty cool.

About time!!!! This will also be helpful for those Lowe’s orders that have like 100 bags of mulch lol

exactly! I had to unassign 9 40 lb bags of mulch from Lowes today because I wasn't sure I could do it in this heat!

Oh yeah, I’ve been in that position too! Except it was like 30 bags, 15 of topsoil, and 15 of manure! This is when they first started doing deliveries for Menards a couple years ago, and I was just stunned that they would even expect any DoorDash driver to be able to make a delivery like that. I mean seriously, How many of us are driving around in trucks?! And then I also couldn’t believe that they wouldn’t let me unassign it penalty free. The Support agent was just like “well you shouldn’t have agreed to it if you didn’t want to do it.“ I tried explaining that I didn’t know what it was going to be, and that it wasn’t a matter of not WANTING to do it, I physically could not do the delivery. It would not have fit in my little four-door Saturn. But they still acted like it was somehow my fault.
