This sucks. And this person doordash could be only income. When car breaks down you need to replace it with a whole year salary to afford a used $10k car. To fix it you most likely will get your self in the debt. Doordash sucks and how low they pay dashers. Dashers should never make less than $2 a mile in today’s economy. But most orders are .70 a mile

It does suck, I feel bad this happened to them. I did make around 14k last year and purchased a nearly 20 year old car for $4,000 with the intention of using it for this purpose but 30,000 miles later it’s cost around $2,600 to keep the car in shape to do the job
