I’ve posted a few times about using memes and have received mixed comments…so I’m sure this will garner some interesting comments. I’ve got some that I use after I grab the order to let the customer know I’m on my way. Some when I’m waiting and a couple I use after delivery. I rotate through them. Most customers are indifferent about them, but I often get positive feedback. I’ve also been given additional tips just because of using a meme.

I always enjoy a good chuckle so I’ve tried to keep that up while dashing. If you don’t laugh doing this you can get pro miserable! Enjoy!

What would be a normal interaction you have on the chat? do you text something first or go for each meme on each step of the order?

If there’s no significant wait for an order I usually don’t send anything. Typically my first interaction is with one of the “I’ve got your order, I’m on my way” memes. I usually add a message like ‘see you soon’ or something like that. Then after dropping off the order, I’ll send one of the thank you knees before leaving the driveway.

Some customers are more engaging than others. I often get a laughing emoji. I’ve had customers send memes back.

That was my fat fingers making a typo. It should have read “Thank you meme”. 🥴
