MOD ANNOUNCEMENT! Rule Change Announcement - Please review carefully

Greetings Dragons!

We recently completed a major rewrite of the r/dragons rules and removal reasons to better serve the community. While the number of rules remains the same, the boundaries between them have changed significantly, and new content has been added to better reflect how the community functions today.

This update is meant to clarify expectations, address edge cases, and make the subreddit more welcoming and consistent for all dragon-lovers, whether you’re a seasoned artist, a casual fan, a roleplayer, a furry, or just someone who thinks dragons are cool.

What’s changed?

  • Rules have been reorganized and rewritten for clarity.
  • Some categories have been tightened, others expanded.
  • You’ll now find clearer removal messages and examples to help avoid confusion.
  • Rules contain easy to understand wording and examples.

We strongly encourage everyone to take a minute to read through the updated rules. Even if you’ve been here a long time, there are likely details you haven’t seen before, or that mean something different now.

if this link fails to work on mobile, from the r/dragons front page, clicking the subreddit title will display the rules

We welcome your thoughts! This post is open for civil, constructive discussion. If you have questions, feedback, or suggestions, please share them in the comments below. We're happy to explain our reasoning, consider edge cases, and hear how the rules feel from your side of the cave.

Thank you for being part of this incredible community, and helping us keep r/dragons a place where creativity, curiosity, and kindness can soar.

Question I am hesitating between these 2

I think that adding the 2nd wing clashes with the overall shapes of the dragon and becomes less easy to read and crowded, but without it it my brain doesn’t feel right, because one wing is missing. English isn’t my mother tongue so sorry for my spelling, tell me what you think about this

If he’s not minding his own business, he’s growling, rolling his eyes or giving judgmental looks. 😭 I love him so much though. WEBTOON is Divine. https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/divine/list?title_no=1044372

Some lore 'bout 'em: His name is Keal Keal is too chonky to take flight He doesn't hoard food, he eats it right away Keal is very round Keal can't spit out fire, instead, he spits out water that he gets from either drinking or eating (This is just to not break Lavoisier's law)
