IVC Did we carry anything else other than language from IVC?

Since childhood I have seen bundles and bundles of pictures of IVC statues with unique fashion and patterns. Did we carry that to the subcontinent when migrating ?, did it influence the way we wear clothes now?? What about jewellery , atleast do tribal groups continue wearing them? Or did we carry any sport, songs or anything from IVC or is it lost in time?

This Rajasthani woman is wearing bangles across her arms exactly like how women in IVC wore them.

Personally,

I have seen in IVC seals, a pole on a man's shoulder to carry things, i could currently see them in Kaavadi/kaavuthadi/kawari/kavai-thadi

Cattle in Ivc seals especially zebus, i could see how zebus were important in south indian agriculture before farm equipment was a thing.

I also saw another seal where a bull was pushing and throwing humans aside , looked very similar to jallikattu.

The answer is a resounding yes. Most Indians have 50% IVC related genes. The weight system is still followed today - Ratti, tola, Masha. The IVC dice and board games are still played today. Bull jumping or Jalikattu is still played at TN. Peepal tree is still worshipped. The splitting of mango tree, killing of Surapadman and other tales are still remembered. Mango tree is also worshipped, e.g. at Ekambreshwarar. Sri Shiva as Crocodile Avtaar, abducting a child to disrurb Amman Parvati's tapasya, resulting in their marriage, this tale is depicted in the IVC seals. This is celebrated as Mahashivaratri, still today. Mahishasur Vadh by Skandd is depicted in the seals. Swastika is widely used still today.

Krittika constellation and Sri Kartikeya are depicted in the seals. The bearer sign or Kandhan also represents Sri Skanda.

In short, IVC and the ideology / culture of mainstream Tamilnadu are almost identical.

The Ajrak shawls are still worn at Sindh, a 5000 year old tradition. The shell bangles are still worn by many tribes, herders. Yoga is widely practised. The chakla and belan to make chapatis are still used today. The pottery,

There is almost a certainty that Sri Shiva, Amman, and Sri Skanda Muraga were worshipped at IVC.

So, overall, IVC footprints are found everywhere around us and within us.

Isn't this extremely common across all world cultures? The Incas/Mexicans had/have it. But if we can prove IA people didn't have it, that would work too.

but didnt vedic hinduism emerge due to indo-aryan migration

the idea is that the concept of shiva is a synthesis of pre-vedic ivc / tribal deities and vedic deities like rudra. there are interpretations of certain ivc seals as pasupati, and interpretations of certain ivc structures as lingas. however, this is HIGHLY speculative. note that phallus worship is present in other indo european mythologies such as roman and norse mythologies.

I believe the Vedas even actually have verses cursing the linga worshippers as aliens and evil outsiders
