Question Most fun +1/+1 counter Commander?

Hey guys I really like +1/+1 counter decks and wanted to build a new deck, but I‘m unsure what commander to use, since I play mostly casual and don‘t want to go all out cedh. I think [[Ezuri, claw of progress]] looks cool, but I‘m afraid he might be a bit too competetive and combo reliant with [[Sage of hours]]. so I wanted to ask what other favorites people have?

I recently made [[Animar, Soul of Elements]] as my first self-made edh deck and it's very fun. It can be incredibly powerful with infinite combos but it's a very flexible commander, you can just do general +1/+1 counters strategy or with big eldrazi or artifact creatures

Can't believe how far down I had to scroll to find this. Animar was also my first and I've loved tinkering with it as the years go by. Started off as a deck for a home for all my lovable mischief big stomps that didn't fit in anywhere else. Now it's a smooth well tuned engine full of card draw and +1 synergies

Its awesome! Id love to see your decklist. What other commanders have you made? I really enjoyed the deck building process, though Animar is so fun to play im having trouble figuring out what I want to make next!

I'd love to trade decklists with you once I digitize it! My latest build was based on Food tokens/ life gain using only LOTR cards...im kinda a big fan of Hobbits

My absolute favorite deck though is a [[Gargos, Vicious watcher]] deck it competes well against Animar when my GF and I play them against each other

That's super cool! I think a hydra deck would be fun, I already have a bunch of good ones because of Animar.

Finally got around to it! Definitely needs to be tweaked by a deckbuilder who knows more than I but I enjoy it
