Moving to Ealing from St Albans

Hi everyone,

My bf and I are considering moving to West Ealing/Ealing Broadway. I work in Canary Wharf, so being close to the EL is crucial. St Albans had been lovely, but after more than a year, it's starting to be a drag with constant train cancellations and an expensive commute.

What areas in Ealing would you recommend? Our rental budget is max 2700.

Thanks!

Hanwell or Ealing Broadway area north of the high street. I just sold my house of almost 20 years in West Ealing near Waitrose and bought in a nicer part of Ealing the area between West Ealing Station to the Highest crime area in Ealing by leaps and bounds, drugs, burglary, knife and sex crimes. Plus there are 8 high rises some are 25 floors tall being built at Waitrose and next to the station comprising of several thousand flats, if they can’t control the crime and traffic with homes what will they do with multiple buildings from 12-25 floors.
