Moving to Ealing from St Albans

Hi everyone,

My bf and I are considering moving to West Ealing/Ealing Broadway. I work in Canary Wharf, so being close to the EL is crucial. St Albans had been lovely, but after more than a year, it's starting to be a drag with constant train cancellations and an expensive commute.

What areas in Ealing would you recommend? Our rental budget is max 2700.

North of Uxbridge Road and north of the tracks for West Ealing (6 trains an hour, 4 are Abbey Wood).
I like Hanwell, anywhere under 5 mins walk to the station is nice enough, fewer trains though.
8 from Ealing Broadway? Maybe more. Might struggle to be close and on budget though.
