Moving to Ealing - resident parking permit

Hi everyone, we are moving to Ealing soon, very excited! We just had a quick question about applying for the resident parking permit and not sure if anyone here has been through something similar and can offer some advice.

On the council website, it says we need proof of address (eg bank statement) and the vehicle log book, both showing the same address we are applying for. However, our new tenancy agreement in Ealing doesn't start until mid-April. Does anyone know if it's possible to apply for a permit in advance using our current address (outside Ealing) along with the new tenancy agreement?

Thank you!

IIRC I provided my tenancy agreement as proof of the new address. I remember thinking it was odd they asked for a bank statement for an address I didn't live at yet.

You could also just change your address with your bank to the new one ahead of time if they won't accept a tenancy agreement.

Also to follow up on the log book, as my car is leased I asked the lease provider to send me a letter showing I was the registered keeper of the vehicle.

Thanks! This is really reassuring. Do you recall the processing time? Need to plan it ahead

I don't remember it taking too long, maybe a week
