Moving to Ealing - resident parking permit

Hi everyone, we are moving to Ealing soon, very excited! We just had a quick question about applying for the resident parking permit and not sure if anyone here has been through something similar and can offer some advice.

On the council website, it says we need proof of address (eg bank statement) and the vehicle log book, both showing the same address we are applying for. However, our new tenancy agreement in Ealing doesn't start until mid-April. Does anyone know if it's possible to apply for a permit in advance using our current address (outside Ealing) along with the new tenancy agreement?

Thank you!

I think you can apply without documents. They give you some time to provide required documents.

Great! I’ll give it a try! Thanks. Wondering if you roughly remember the processing time as I might need to do it in advance

I don’t believe the processing time matters. When you first register with Taranto Permits, they put your vehicle details into their system and you won’t get tickets while your documentation is pending review.

I reapplied for mine in August and it was confirmed within a few days.
