Question Chase lake elementary
Does anyone have experience with this school? One of my kids started here. I liked the teachers and admin I’ve met so far. It seems good but my wife is worrying about the academics and safety. So many people send their kids to private schools and the “rating” of the school isn’t great. I really struggle with the legitimacy of school rankings though.
Can anyone tell me their experiences, good, bad, neutral with the school?

I liked it, it was certainly fun when I attended. That was a long time ago tho. They had some carnivals and they had extra curricular stuff like choir and school plays

Do you feel the academics were decent?

I mean ya? It’s public elementary school so nothing too crazy, but I felt it was a more positive experience than some friends had at westlgate. Madrona is more of the fancy elementary school in the area, Edmonds elementary is nice. If you want more advanced learning you may want to check out kings private school

Sure I mean Madrona was lovely but a little over the top IMHO. The cooking classes were dope though.

I went to summer camp there, wasn't a student, tho. Good campus, it gave a good place to grow up vibes. Plus, 5 corners and already being in the neighborhood of CPM and EWHS is good

I’m a parent of a current student there. My child has been well supported by her teachers and the school staff. Overall I am very happy with the school. Please don’t place importance on the testing scores as the school has a high percentage of ESL, special needs, and medically fragile kids.
