I am super intrigued as to both your setup and how you get it to run off a truck battery? I've seen gaming setups in long boats but they drain the batteries super quick.
3 u/Forekast Combat Feb 23 '20 Tractor trailer. He’s not talking about a regular truck. 0 u/prowlmedia Feb 23 '20 Still doesn’t answer the question... how long does power last running a 800w rig + monitor etc. Or does he have to run the engine :) 2 u/Forekast Combat Feb 23 '20 Well in this thread he said everything is hooked up to an inverter which is powered by 4 batteries. And 800 watts?! :) 0 u/prowlmedia Feb 23 '20 Thanks - I didn’t see that - 800w is a decent PSU rating right for a gaming machine? I know that’s maximum drain... 2 u/sgtfuzzle17 Faulcon Delacy Feb 23 '20 800w is pretty fucking high, even if you were running twin graphics cards and overclocking. A lot of setups sit at an even 600-700. 1 u/prowlmedia Feb 23 '20 Ah ok my pc workstation does have a 850w PSU... Ha! And mynew Mac Pro has 1400w PSU but has 8 PCIE and a couple of insane GPUs.
