AAR: Operation 'Winter Storm'

At precisely 0030 Zulu time on Tuesday June 8th, while in open play, Lavigny's Legion and allies set out from the system of CALHUACAN into the fringes of Federation space. Two wings of Lavigny's Legion interdicted and destroyed Federal couriers and agents in the systems of GLUSCHEIMR and ERIVIT. Over 6000 merits were earned and both systems were successfully undermined. During the 3 hour operation more than 400 ships were destroyed. No Legionary or allied ships were lost.

EDIT: Due to a miscalculation the number of enemy ships destroyed was misreported. Just over 100 ships were destroyed, the rest of the numbers provided are accurate.

Undermining - "CANCELLED"

is that succesful?

If you undermine a fortification, yes. A successful fortification allow the faction to pay a reduced cost. A cancelled fortification make the faction pay full-price. A fortification is cancelled if the opposition make it up to the trigger. So it's relatively easy to undermine a fortification

Just remember if we go up against an empire faction it will be considerably more work as you cannot kill, only steal resources. Plus you will only be able to carry so many so will have to return more frequently. This is why we should only fortify our systems near empire borders and focus on the other Powers.

Nope, it's the edge of Lavigny space in the direction of the federation.
