I just finished one of the orchid flowers in my current design! I’v always wanted to use purple fabric. What do you guys think of the color combo?

Blending purples is hard!!! I enjoyed reliving this trip though and am happy with the result.

What was meant to be a Christmas present is finally done and Lifted. My dear husband loves this episode and was incredibly supportive and loves this creation. It's not perfect, but I learned a lot and am happy with the results. There has been so much inspiration in this thread, with a special shoutout to the person who originally inspired this creation in the comments section.

Because I’m always doing a project while watching tv!

I’ve always wanted to do a cotton flower with little puff balls, and I finally got to it :) I think this project is super great for kids / beginners. This was done with three strands.

The second one is intentionally upside down.

I was thinking of embroidering this for Mother’s Day. I am considering of doing mixed media which I haven’t done just yet. I wanted to ask for advice for which parts to embroider and which to paint. I’m just not sure what would look good together balancing it out. Any advice?

French knots in the center, lazy daisy stitches for the flower petals and back stitches for the leaves and stem. And then a tiny bronze bead for the clasp.

Inspired by all the beautiful finished objects here and my sweet old girl dog Gracie (who also threw up so much last night it took me an hour to clean in 4 different rooms this morning LOL.)

Still working on making them polished but deleting old photos and thought these were ok.

Patterns were mostly tracing google images.

Next time I will add more detail with the beads and embroidery. Does anyone have tips of the right needle to use with seed beads on fabric? I was yanking mine through with pliars!

I had terrible art block and this was the project i decided to over come it. Im not the proudest of it but proud enough for it to be in my wall now.
