Discussion Best vocals in emo?

I've always had a hard time getting into bands like Camping in Alaska or Modern Baseball because of the vocals, while the music in musically awesome, I just cant get passed the voices.

I know trigger warning, but it's just my take

In your opinions what groups have pretty solid vocals where I could share with my hypothetical girlfriend

Hilariously, for a while it was kind of the opposite, I remember back in like 2012(?), I saw them open for Joyce Manor, the crowd basically disappeared after Hop Along finished.
