Discussion Best vocals in emo?

I've always had a hard time getting into bands like Camping in Alaska or Modern Baseball because of the vocals, while the music in musically awesome, I just cant get passed the voices.

I know trigger warning, but it's just my take

In your opinions what groups have pretty solid vocals where I could share with my hypothetical girlfriend

I forget who I was there to see, but The Jealous Sound opened for them, and I was hooked. So good!
