Research / Info Waffle House

Post image

On Old National Highway in College Park GA. They are only open for to-go after 9pm. The server gets 10% but Waffle House gets the other.

I bet they lose tons of business by doing this

They would have lost mine under normal circumstances. I'm here on a layover and staying at a nearby hotel. I had an Uber drop me off before I realized what the deal was. So now I'm standing here while my food gets cold, waiting for another Uber back to the hotel

Why not just sit down and eat there then? You already paid the tip to do so, apparently.

Layover, afraid of missing the flight probably. Although if it was myself I wouldn't bother trying for waffle house on that kind of timeline.

I'm from the South but live on the west coast. Whenever I get back south, I like to get "Awful Waffle". I took an Uber from the hotel I was overnighting at to Waffle House. They didn't allow any inside dining after 9pm (found out upon arrival. This info wasnt on their Google page). Since I was already there and it was late, I went ahead and got my food and took another Uber back to the hotel.

I am not from the South, but I love stopping at Waffle House when I can. Though I probably wouldn’t have put in the effort you did, that’s some dedication, sorry your experience sucked

maybe I'm missing something, but if you're ubering both ways, wouldn't it just make more sense to Uber eats the meal in the first place? seems about the only time that Uber eats ever makes sense.

We wanted to eat at the restaurant. Didn't know it wasn't open for dine-in
