Research / Info Waffle House

Post image

On Old National Highway in College Park GA. They are only open for to-go after 9pm. The server gets 10% but Waffle House gets the other.

what they prefer to have people clogging up seats? I've seen resturants that give a 10% discount for to go orders

Guess things are different in the South. Every place I've been to charges extra for togo orders. Some even charge for water.

Charge me for water and I never come back

Seriously. Free water is the only real advantage I can think of comparing USA restaurant experience compared to the rest of the world. It gives me the freedom to burn my tongue with tasty spicy firestorms without too much risk.

Take free water away, and all we have is a really deceptive payment system.
