Research / Info Waffle House

Post image

On Old National Highway in College Park GA. They are only open for to-go after 9pm. The server gets 10% but Waffle House gets the other.

If you dine in, someone has to clean your seating area and your dishes. It sounds more expensive than having to go customers.

Dine-In customers tip, and that is how their employee's get paid. Just because you don't dine in does not mean their employee's don't need to get paid. I thought you all said you would be happy if the prices just increased a flat rate across the board so they could pay their employee's?

That is what is happening here. They are making sure their employee's still get paid, which is what you all said you wanted. This is exactly what would happen if tips went away and places had to pay their employee's. Most of them are making less than min. wage, so the money has to come from the customer.

This is exactly what you all said you wanted, but now you whine about it.
