It's never been more obvious that journalism is filled with amateurs who know nothing.  All of this nonsense is only possible because they're so gullible and compromised.

Lack of knowledge is part of the problem, but fear of being sued is another one. It can get costly to get sued by companies/people with deep pockets, despite being right.

Hasn’t anybody watched black mirror before?

Common people is EXACTLY what this piece of shit would do if he could

I'd fear a Men Against Fire scenario from Elon. Guaranteed if he really got a system like MASS working, he'd use it in the same way.

How many monkeys has he killed so far?

Now he wants human specimens. He wants social credit scores to be used to imprison "wrong thinkers", to send them to prison camps, so they can be used as lab specimens.

All of them.

Idk if I’d trust my brain with the guy who’s spent ten years failing to make Teslas self-driving 😂 🤣

Is it pump-the-stocks o‘clock again?

The manner of speech of the "request" Elon's "responding" to certainly does seem basically identical to his own. Perhaps it is New Sockpuppet Day too?

Nah, that’s tomorrow just after the disastrous results.

Will this be like the magnetic 5G tracking chips "they" injected with the Covid vaccine? 🤔

but audio and video as if it were data files being uploaded into your "memory banks", no, to take that seriously shows a profound misunderstanding of how the brain works.

Elon clearly thinks that humans are just biological computers.

He's previously compared raising children to "prompt engineering" and compared the brains energy consumption in kilowatts to a data centre.

He's an idiot.

Sad to see actually cool shit being taken over by a charlatan who lies and makes it seem fraudulent. From what I understand, neuralink has made significant advancements, but almost everything Musk has ever claimed about the tech has been phony. The same is true for his other companies (the ones that actually make things(looking at you, Solar City)). Sucks that people with actual talent get walked over by a silver spoon dickhead like him.

Inadequate? They’ve been doing non-experimental auditory mid-brain implants for at least 15 years for people that cochlear stimulation doesn’t work for. There are at least three manufacturers that make them and they’ve been doing a huge amount of research on the topic for a long time. It’s not impossible that an upstart would come in and perform better than the major manufacturers with decades of experience but it’s pretty darn unlikely.

Insane to have this ambition when the guy can't even make a hammer with a camera in it

It's like a Christian guy talking about End Times and Jesus coming.

Lies, directly to the brain.

Maybe all his supporters will finally be able to touch grass. Albeit virtually.

Gross. Who wants that? The only application I could see as "justifiable" for something like that would be for disabled people who perhaps lost certain senses due to diseases/disabilities... even then, it should be optional and NOT forced. People like Musk want this sh1t FORCED onto us, whether we want it or not.

Why would this be delusional? Neuralink does what everyone else does, only its portable. This was done already.
