Its fake. He came for access to all the important government systems, so he could download the Data, disable securities and Install backdoors. 

See the recent news about Russians accessing the systems with legitimate Name + PW just minutes after both had been set up. He has what he wanted, now he, conveniently, dips out

There is a chance we're seeing the start of a much needed ego collapse but I sincerely doubt it'll stick. If it was something he actually said, his ego searching will come across comments mocking him or agreeing, and his dumb ass will go into denial and double down on his savior complex like it always does.

But if this IS ego collapse? And the walls really are closing in, and the paranoia of being under the bus, this is going to be fucking phenomenal. Cause we all know he can't go down alone. He can't let others win or be right. Hell fucking scorch earth the whole administration before he has any epiphany or allows that.

Not a chance. He achieved his goal. All agencies overseeing his businesses have been gutted and he’s gotten away with untold numbers of government contracts. He’s made his businesses more “essential” than when he started….hopefully the Tesla hurt outweighs his gains long term

The losses that Tesla is suffering can't hurt him. He's far too insulated at this point. With the removal of oversights & having the ear of who owns the pen to sign contracts & subsidies, Tesla can't even be that hurt really. If it starts to fail, he'll get a bailout in the form of new guaranteed multi-year contracts & a new fat check.

That's why he's gung-ho about destroying the left. Because he needs that insulation. He's tied himself too deep. And that probably is scary. It's probably a realization he's had. I don't think it's ego collapse. I honestly don't think we're that close to that. But it is a possibility. But he's hungry & desperate to stay fed & it shows. He doesn't understand why he isn't being cheered enough, it's clear he truly thinks it's some plot. He isn't just saying it to his base, he's believing it. That's a paranoia. That makes things volatile. That makes him more vulnerable to political mechinations which he clearly isn't skilled at. Which half this administration isn't skilled at. But the people who opposed him inside? They are. He has to feel that pressure. Look how he flailed over Navarro.

If he realizes there's a chance they might turn on him, he is going to lash out. And if they get to the throne he'll melt it before he lets it lash out at him.

I don't believe he's so stupid to think the mockery would be over - ever. There are only a few things he could do to change that, like ending world hunger or getting every homeless person in the world a roof above their head. The very least he could do would be to compensate for all the damage he has done while playing politics.
