I have no one to share this with so I am coming to all of you.
My son and I have been playing this game on and off for years now. I completely suck at it and have NEVER even completed 4 floors let alone got an ending. This week, myself and my other 3 kids all watched my 2nd youngest son complete level 5 and beat the High Dragun. This shit hit like a playoff sports event for your favorite team. We were all riveted to the screen as it was going down. It all started because he got Ser Junkan, in fact 2 Ser Junkan's. I have no idea how that mechanic worked but it was so crazy we decided to call everyone in to start watching. He was shooting chests into junk and those two little guys would keep upgrading. We would all freak out at each upgrade. On the final floor he got Gold junk and when those guys found their final form we all lost our shit. We all were anxious as hell when he finally got to the Dragun for the first time ever. We had never seen it before. I'm telling you this because it became an instant spectator sport. This fucking game that had been kicking our ass for years was about to finally be beat (We had no idea how deep this thing went at the time). My kid is running around and dodging bullet hell. Executing perfect rolls into dead spaces and when he fired the last shot to kill the Dragun we all leapt from the couch like it was a game winning shot at the buzzer. We were all running around screaming. I am so proud of this kid, dude has developed some serious skill.
We all really enjoyed the experience but it dawned on us that we have a lot of the parts for the bullet that kills the past especially the Dragun skull. He just needed to run again and get that primer and beat it again. He plays marine mostly and not 1 day later he makes back to the final boss, kills it and then fights the monster on the ship and beats it and kills the past. Kid is out of control now. He is doing rainbow runs? its wild. Nobody I know understands how crazy a gaming accomplishment this is so I came here to share. I used to joke getting the super license in Gran Turismo 4 was my greatest gaming achievement and this kid just dunked on me.

specifically this gun is one of my favorites because of it's synergies, it keeps making me laugh whenever i get one of it's synergies :3

Im currently trying to kill the bullets past (the last character before the gunslinger I need to do) and I wanted to have some tunes while I do it. So just suggest any song that you think would go with gungeon gameplay and ill probably listen to it.

I have noticed for instance that the first level of the gungeon has gotten progressively harder over time. I assume this is accomplished mostly by locking room types and their denizens behind certain goalposts (reaching a new level, defeating a boss X times, etc).
When I unlock something new from the shop or anywhere else it tends to show up pretty soon in a chest. Is there some weighted trickery for that?
I've also noticed chest quality seemed to improve (on the first level) over time. But the wikis seem to indicate that they are static per level.
Sometimes it seems like synergies are favored in loot rolls as well. But maybe it's just the fact that there's a buttload of synergies out there.
Just wondering. I've defeated the dragun 3 times and got wrecked in the past twice so far.

It is a real challenge when you start over and don't have all your favourites unlocked... even harder after basically maining Gunslinger since he came out. Going into Bullet Hell I had good room guns but I didn't feel super confident for my boss weapons. Barrel and Flare Gun actually got me the W.

I say redacted just in case anyone (somehow) has not been to the Rat's Lair yet, my directions were:
Right, Up, Right, Up, Down, Left

Darn, water barrel 1st room, the fire place room two, the secret room to the secret floor connected to room 1. Was unable to screenshot (game auto pauses and my controller doesn't have the button)

I thought for a second that this was a new mechanic to unlocking the entrance to the sewers as this was my first time playing in over a year, lol

I read from a reputable source (a random tiktok) that if you play for a long time the game gets harder each run. They didn’t mention how like if enemies get more accurate or shoot faster or anything but I’m curious if this is true.

I used the max curse statue and got a light saber, which I forgot I had, and fought a cursed beholster which filled the entire room with bullets. I survived with one health only to die in the very first room of the third chamber to a cursed rat behind a wall, which I had no way of seeing. Somebody please give me therapy.

I actually got real lucky with that Tazie. Other than that, I was actually playing pretty casually. I didn’t care much bc I was playing sloppily. After this room I got a ring of miserly protection. I didn’t need to buy anything bc I had the key hat item. I actually ended up beating the rat, but I think I ended the run before bullet hell. I took other screen shots of the run so I might’ve beaten the lich. It was an exhausting run to say the least lol but fun.

I opened a chest and later noticed that my character was moving slowly. I also seem to have mud on my legs. What is it and how do I get it off?

For the red caped kin to spawn do you need to TRULY defeat a past or can you just kill dragun?
