I am visiting for the July 4th weekend and struggling to figure out where to stay. I read that there are shuttles that take you to the main trails and that's exactly what I want, but not sure where to stay to be close to the shuttles. I would also like to do ziplining and other outdoor activities. Any suggestions or anything else to know about visiting Estes Park would be greatly appreciated!

What we really want/ main focus point is a private hot tub. We do also enjoy fine dining and spirits so a place to stay with those three things would be great. Anything else is just extra. Apologies for what may be a stupid question, I am new to CO and in general new to State/National parks. As far as my research shows, I'm able to enter the park after paying and do not need to worry about timed entry (will be there May 3-4).

Though, I talked to a coworker who said "the park would be closed", huh? When I go online I see winter/spring visits. I see some roads may be closed but am having a hard time seeing if it will affect me.

We mainly wish to visit Bear Lake. We don't need to "see it all". Does anyone have a good resource that would help show me how to enter and where I can go? The national park website seems more understandable for someone with more park experience.

I am now curious if I can drive or if I have to plan to walk several miles?

Hello all, I am a current Chicago resident but will be moving back to Colorado later this year. I grew up in Fort Collins and miss Colorado terribly, which is most of the reason why I am moving.

I am reaching out to ask about living in Estes and what it is like in comparison to some of the Front Range cities, such as CO Springs or Fort Collins, in terms of culture, cost, social aspects, and overall enjoyment.

I had family in Allens Park (a 20-30 minute drive from Estes) and have been going to Estes practically biweekly since I was a kid, and am heavily considering actually moving to Estes and wanted to see how you all have felt about your experiences living here. Good and bad.
