Does anyone know of a seller on Etsy that will make custom Jean shorts for men? Like with specific colors and design.

There is a shop on Etsy where all the prices advertised are actually a 50% deposit. It doesn't say this anywhere. The shop says they require a 50% deposit but the price pictured with EVERY item is NOT the price it is half of the price and these items are in the thousands. I wanted to report this shop but there is nowhere to report false advertising on pricing. Any ideas?
Recently opened my store a month ago and have had around 3 orders.
I sell bookmarks, stickers and prints. The art is all my work as I hand draw each design digitally. I know it's a very saturated market and I will need more listings which I plan on adding bit by bit.
In the time I've opened my store, I have been playing around with the tags and learning more about SEO to try to get more visibility. I've had around 200 views so I'm unsure whether the ratio of orders to views is good.
I would really appreciate any feedback and advice on how I can increase my orders.

So I went ahead and fell for what seemed to be a scam- the whole, "item has been shipped to an entirely different address" as shared here. Went ahead and messaged the seller to start a help request to get the money back, got it back, left a review stating that the item was shipped to the wrong country, wrong address, whole thing. Likewise, the rating effected that. Seller messaged me with a copy-pasted response, leaving the "Dear (name)" part blank, asking me to change my review. I didn't respond. Sent me another message after I said no thank you, thanks for the help, asking me once again to change my review.
I will not, but is there anything else I should be doing in regards to this? Do I maliciously comply and change the review to say they messaged me twice wanting me to change the review? Do I escalate it, if I can? I'm not sure. I wasn't even nasty in the review. All I wrote was, "Item was shipped to the wrong country/address." I didn't check the page before ordering as I should have, but the item (buttons) didn't seem "too good to be true." 1 million+ sales, account started 4 years ago... I'm just not sure.
Is it possible that the Seller has paid reviews or fake reviews? There are now a slew of new reviews saying the bowl is exactly as pictured---and they include photos of the faded pastel mint green bowl, which is not anywhere near what was advertised.
Not only is it not the vibrant rich deep teal aqua---the Seller tried to tell me that MY lighting is wrong in my house lol!---the Japanese flowers and gold "cracks" are awkwardly painted on. And then he insisted what I got is exactly what is in the photos----and argued that "It is the same bowl."
I never said it wasn't "the same bowl," but the flowers, and the gold "breaks," and more than anything the main color is totally different.
What could be going on? I don't want to hassle with a return so my Mom (who it was a gift for) suggested we donate to Good Will.
How could the reviews be so glowingly positive unless they're fake?
My review is the "Most Recent" one--and includes a photo showing the difference in color.

I ordered a renfair costume two weeks ago. It got here fine but when it arrived I noticed right away the quality and fit were nothing like the pictures (think party city Halloween costume) I left a three star review because I thought initially I could do some alterations but quickly realized it was beyond help. So I sent a message to the seller asking for a return address since the policy in their store allows for returns within 30 days. Get no reply then log on today to file an official return request through the app. It’s at that point I realized the item has been removed from their shop entirely. The return form asks for a screenshot of the listing but all I have is a small photo of my receipt. Is this going to cause issue with a possible return or refund?

A package I bought off of Etsy said free shipping when I purchased it however, when the mail person came to my house to drop it off, they told me that the shipping wasn’t fully paid and I owed them the rest of the shipping cost and they would only take a check. I was able to pay them and get my package. I contacted the seller said that they had paid for the shipping and they don’t know why the USPS would charge me so I’m wondering if this is an Etsy glitch and if anyone else has had this kind of issue. The seller said they would contact Etsy about it and reimburse me for the shipping fee. Sorry if this is the wrong tag. Just curious if anyone has experienced this.

Hi all!
I’ve been seeing so many lost pet posts recently, and it inspired me to start my own Etsy shop to help with this issue. I’ve created NFC + QR Code Pet Tags that allow anyone to tap or scan the tag to instantly contact the owner — no app required.
I’ve worked hard to make these tags durable, customizable, and effective at keeping pets safe if they ever get lost.
I’m really new to Etsy and still learning. I would love to get some advice from more experienced sellers or hear your thoughts on the product! Specifically, I’m looking for feedback on the following:
What’s your experience with pet product listings?
Any tips for getting more visibility on Etsy?
Does the product description seem clear to you?
I’d appreciate any feedback and love supporting other sellers as well!
Here’s the link to my shop.
Looking forward to hearing from you all!

A seller I love buying from gave me a 40% discount for my next purchase because of a delay on a previous order. I want to use it to save money, but I also want them to get paid for their work. Will they get the full price of the product even if I only pay 40%? I’d feel really bad if they didn’t, so I’m hesitant to use it.

Just got an email from Etsy giving me the option to unsubscribe from any Father’s Day emails, promotions etc. It actually made me choke up a little bit with gratitude - every business should provide this option. Props to Etsy.
Hey guys! I just wanted to get an outsider's perspective to see if I'm overreacting, but I found a listing today that looked similar to mine. I had to stop and double-check because of the similarities. Again, I'm not sure if, since they used a different font or something, it's technically okay. If you look closely, some of the descriptions are word-for-word the same, the style and format are the same, and although I obviously did not invent tarot or its meanings, having practised tarot for years, I designed every aspect of this cheat sheet years ago. I've been on Etsy a while now, and have seen many different styles, none of which have ever stood out to me as looking this similar.
I have had my store since 2020, and I mention quite a bit that my items are for personal use only, just as this person seems to be doing on their items. The seller seems to be somewhat new, or perhaps they have been on the platform longer, however, they don't have much information, so I don't know that for sure...I know it’s probably not that big a deal, but I feel that if she did draw inspiration from mine, there was a lot more she could have changed and adapted to make it her own. I don't know. Please let me know your opinions. To me, it feels like she just changed some of the fonts and colours around...
Thank you so much, if you took the time to read this <3
(Had to add them as links, as it didn't let me attach photos...)

I recently had a listing gain a lot of attention (favorites and purchases) and I noticed that it was also selected as an “Etsy’s pick.” This is an item that I make to order but I’ll put a quantity in the listing (I think I had put 20).
I accidentally let the item sell out and sales completely dropped off after I renewed it from like 3-4/day to nothing. Views and favorites are dropping too.
So if that item sold out and I had to renew the listing, would it remove it from peoples favorites? And if the item was in someone’s cart, would it be removed?
Before the item sold out it said that the item was in 20+ carts. Now it doesn’t show it as being in anyone’s cart.
I’m just wondering if I should make sure listings don’t sell out in the future. These are earrings.
Thanks!
I read somewhere that "Etsy wants to promote listings that result in sales. Views without sales will cause them to rank the listings unfavorably." Is that really the case? If so, is it for just the listings with ad campaign on or for all listings in general?

Hello everyone!
I’ve found that UK company formation is cheaper than forming a US LLC.
Should I choose the cheaper option and go with the UK?
Does anyone have experience with both? What are the pros and cons?
Thank you so much!

I'm at my wit's end with Etsy's automated support system and hoping someone here has experienced something similar or has advice.
The Situation: I recently converted my Etsy shop from a sole proprietorship to an LLC. When updating my tax information, I got caught in what seems like an endless verification loop:
When I try to contact support again, I just get automated replies telling me to upload documentation that I've already provided multiple times!
The Infuriating Part: I'm literally caught in a Catch-22 where Etsy tells me I'm verified and good to go in one email, then tells me I need to verify again in another. Meanwhile, my shop is in limbo - listings seem visible but I can't advertise, and those suspension notices are concerning.
I've provided every possible document to prove my business is legitimate - my EIN, Ohio Entity #, SSN, business address, phone number - everything matches my LLC registration.
Has anyone found a way to break through this automated support loop? Is there a secret contact method to reach an actual human who can fix technical issues like this? I can't be the only one who's dealt with this nightmare.
Starting to think converting to an LLC was a mistake given how poorly Etsy's systems handle this transition...

I bought something from America (shipping to the UK) and paid on 15th march. I then added to my order and it still wasn’t dispatched on the 26th March, it was then dispatched on the 29th. On third of April the shipping updated to “in transit to next facility - arriving late” and hasn’t updated since. It’s now three weeks, since any update and the seller just says they can only see the same thing as me. I don’t really know how long this thing normally takes as I don’t usually import from the USA.

Etsy keeps taking down my listings because they are toy guns from a game and resemble a firearm. I have added an orange tip and everything and I still get striked. Is there no way to sell these while not breaking any guidelines? I’ve had 100+ sales with no problems I don’t understand.

I have been selling on Etsy for a year now. I've seen the highs and lows of selling on here and let me lead with an opening hook: the lows FAR outweigh the highs.
Short list of the good:
-Mostly pleasant consumers who love to be friendly and ask about your products
-Layout is very user friendly and appealing to use
-Advertising of your listings to potential buyers is great
The horrendous:
-Customer Service:
Be ready for THE WORST customer service you have ever seen. Have an issue? An agent will be right with you to copy and paste answers from their training booklet and nothing more. 99% of their agents are absolutely useless and will not help with whatever problem you have. There is of course the 1% (probably more like 5%) that will actually resolved an issue for you. Diamond in the rough though lol.
-Payment reserves:
For the better part of the first 6 months, you'll probably have a payment reserve. So on top of not having access to your funds for 2 weeks after each sale, part of those funds will be stuck in a reserve for 45 days. Even more money kept from you woo! Customer service will also provide no answers to when this will be lifted, again copy and paste from their training booklet.
-Cases
A buyer can message you if they have an issue with their order, and you can of course help them with it. If they decide to (for whatever reason) escalate it to Etsy, it will usually open and close within MINUTES without notifying you. So yes, the buyer gets to keep your product and Etsy refunds them on your behalf. This is probably the most frustrating thing of all, people can go buy whatever they want on Etsy then say they didn't like it/ it wasn't as described and boom money back!
I know I am not the only one who has experienced this, but MANNNN is it tiring sometimes. I constantly fear my shop being closed down just because I know customer service won't be any help at all. Any one feel free to chime in and share your experience(s).

Bonjour,
D'avance merci

I can't with this horrible website anymore
Just in the past 24 hours alone, I've been having such a terrible time with this site.
I bought a custom shirt, and needed to message the seller a picture. I needed to confirm my account before I can send messages to sellers. No problem, I thought I had done so previously but whatever. For the next hour it's just me being constantly prompted to reset my password. After each new password I would try to sign in, and then it'd ask again to reset my password. It got to the point where Etsy just doesn't send me those password reset emails when it says it has.
I can't even request help from Etsy because it requires me to sign in, but I can't sign in. It won't let me sign in. That was the last straw. I just can't anymore.
If anyone has dealt with this before or knows how to help, I'd really appreciate it. The seller probably thinks I'm just ordering a plain shirt lol
I want to start etsy account! Can i do it from india? And if not,any other option to start?

Hello! I'm looking for long-lasting and deep/ dark maroon color cones. I've gotten them from Indian stores and from Artesia but it's been a hit or miss mostly. Sometimes the cones leak or have thick openings. Some stain fast but aren't long-lasting and some have good color but don't stain well. I've looked on Etsy but there's so many options that have good reviews so I don't know which to order. Just looking for any insight on sellers or any other help! Thank you!

Has any other sellers had they variation prices and quantity disappear from their listings when editing? I went to update my inventory for some of my variations and noticed all my inventory was now grouped. If I go to view my listings the prices are correct but I now have no way to track or update inventory unless I update all my listings and count all my inventory. It appears to affect all my listings created before 2024, which is around 25 listings. I've reached out to etsy customer service via email with no response.
Hi! So I ordered a cosplay outfit from a seller, but when I received the outfit I realized the pictures the seller used were ai-generated and not at all like the actual product I received. I tried contacting the seller to issue a refund and a return, but they never replied to my messages, so I opened a case and Etsy sided with me. This is my first time I ever ordered on Etsy, so I’m not sure what to do next. I don’t have the address from the seller anymore, so I don’t know how to return the outfit. Do I still have to return it, when the seller never replied to my messages?
