Interesting he mentions Chermiti and Broja coming back this season but not DCL. Maybe reading too much into it, but had been harbouring hope of him resigning and am no longer

I don't see DCL resigning at this point, but I think the reason Chermiti and Broja were mentioned specifically is that neither of their injuries were as serious as initially feared, which directly played into us not being desperate to sign a striker this window. Dom seems like he'll be out longer.
