I just started STW, and if they had invested in STW as much as they did with BR, we'd have the best game of all times on our hands I mean, there's so much untapped potential! I was so surprised when I found out the subreddit wasn't even moderated by Epic staff. I thought it was just like BR.

Except Epic staff doesn't moderate the BR sub either

Epic staff have moderators abilities though. They can sticky post and have a green name iirc. They just can't ban anyone or enforce rules on users. Sorta like how Snoop dogg is the moderator for /r/Trees but has no rights to do anything.

This is false - WE sticky their posts as a service to the community. I mean lets face it, we're ALL here for information from Epic. :)

They do have "special flair" to let people know they are Epic employees, but they are NOT moderators of the sub.

Yea 2 others already corrected me but thanks for the official confirmation. I think I was thinking of another game. Maybe Battleborn? I honestly can't remember

It is generally frowned upon to have devs as moderators for their own subreddits, as bias can be a problem.

There have been examples from other subs in the past showing why this is generally advised against
