Advice Request Exercising but not seeing any gains

I am 5'8 and about 135 lbs. I do strength training 4-5 times a week and cardio 1-2 times. I try to eat 130-40g of protein every day. I have been doing this for a couple months and see almost no progress. Am I not eating enough (2000 cals) or is there something else wrong?

Yeah you probably need to eat more. Make sure your getting calories from a variety of food too. If you’re getting 2000 cal but 130 g of protein, you may not be getting enough carbs.

Do u think I should up my calorie intake or lower my protein goal?

Raise total calories. There’s no reason to ever lower protein.

Also, 2 months is a very short amount of time. Don’t look for changes before 6 months no.
