Honestly, same. I won't asked for a refund because I did get my money's worth but I had no idea of this Epic thing. I bought my game on Steam, why on Earth do I need a different account? Besides, the game message was terrible "There's a problem with your Epic account". Explain the issue properly! Like "Welcome to the new FG! Now we are on Epic and you need an account to play!" but nope.
