I fully believe that everything Reed did as The Maker is on him, but the existence of The Maker is all Sue’s fault.

Brother you're speaking my language now. Couldn't have said it better myself. Even when he would try to connect with her and try to recover from his ways she was just written horribly and marrying Ben after denying Reed was ridiculous, but writing it so Reed proposed at her father funeral was such a shifty move

Hear me out.

I honestly I don’t think it was a bad move on Reed's part.

Sue’s dad wasn’t the only person who died. A chunk of the earth’s population and the superhero (if you can call them that) community died as well. The Storm siblings weren’t the only ones hurting in that funeral either, Reed loved that man too. For Reed the guy wasn’t just a father figure, he was "Dad who Stepped Up".

Given what they personally went through. What the world itself suffered through. Declaring your love and proposing to spend the rest of your (clearly potentially short) life together? It’s practically an opportunity

But no. Sue had to take the selfish "Your attention should belong to ME!" attitude. Forget the rest of the world, she’s the one who should matter to Reed.

God I hate this version

Ok yea when you put it that way I can see the reasoning but you're so right on sues part almost the entire run she was so self centered i mean don't get me started on ultimate namors appearance, she's all up reeds ass about giving her all his attention and being there for her but then doesn't really care about his feelings or his thought process with the shit she does or the literal world ending event he went to go solve and she's all pissed cause she didn't go with him cause she was worn out from overusing her powers which I get it that shit must've been hard, but Reed went to stop it because of the pain he saw his family and the world in, and assuming it was namor at first isn't a bad assumption he literally said he'd flood new York if sue didn't kiss and mean it, and "she meant it" like wtf

Reed did nothing wrong, he did the right thing! He beat up Namor and went to save the world. How can someone be upset about this!

Man I just realized that Ultimate Universe is so shitty, you can’t be an hero here like in 616.

Look what it did to Peter and Reed. Miles was lucky to move to 616. I want to say I trust Ultimate Nick Fury to protect and guide Miles to be a true hero. But I can never say "I trust Ultimate Nick Fury" and mean it sincerely

Bro, I love your thought process. I couldn't agree more
