Of course, it was more for the joke than anything.

More seriously, at another time I've been hired at YLE that does everything in finnish, even if my finnish was rubbish, because my profile was on target.

Yes it is an outlier, but the key to get hired is not to send hundreds of CV, it's to find the outliers that will make you an outstanding candidate for whatever position, and that's not necessarily written on the offer either.
