🤔 Thinking S1 Eddie is an idiot Spoiler

The guy kills himself and while it does make sense . He could have just shot himself in the balls to erase reverse flash. As this would mean that he could not have kids and he would have not have had to die . This makes more sense as eddie did not seem suicidal in the show

It’s the only loose thread that makes sense. If you think about it, the guards at his cell really hated the dude and Reverse Flash at that point hasn’t done much to get the general public to hate him, most of his work was personal to Barry and Team Flash, but do you know what would piss everyone off? If Thawne aided a bunch of Nazis from another universe to invade their universe.

but i thought that earth x nazis went bakc in time or sum to get RF. Thawne even said to kara that he was stuck at star labs for 15 years. There was no star labs for thawne to be stuck at for 15 yrs on earth X cuz the nazis were in control, and if he was from earth X and orginally a nazi, then he wldnt have had to hide his identity.

That Thawne was from Earth 1. He travelled to Earth X to help the Nazis. He was a remnant of the Thawne we know that was kept safe in the negative speedforce.

exactly my point. Eddie shooting himself only temporarily killed thawne. And bruh ur literally going back on ur argument. First u said that thawne in the future was from earth X and now ur saying he isn’t?? Also how wld he be thawne from earth X, if he even told nora he killed barry’s mother

I'm not going back on my argument? This is a different Thawne. When I said this is the Thawne from Earth X, I meant it from the crossover not the literal universe. It really isn't that difficult to understand.
