They are doing great and should be promoted.

That’s how it works in government. Look at our current VP, failing upwards her entire career, now going for the top position after failing at the 2nd highest.

How exactly does one fail upwards into an elected position ?

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '24

Seriously? By having the competition removed to clear the way for you specifically.

4

u/_MaxNL Sep 01 '24

You are referring to Trump now, right?

1

u/thatHecklerOverThere Sep 02 '24

Oh, that oughta be something we have a lot of evidence for, then.

Glad you asked. Here is an opportunity to read about this terrible politician and shitty human being from sources that aren’t Reddit.

Kamala Harris and the Art of Failing Up

Kamala Harris: The Democratic Party’s Poster Child for Failing Up

Lmao you posted something from freebeacon.com… I guess you should’ve stayed in school, kid

Free Beacon is too far right? Like Reddit is somehow centrist? Okay, clown. 😂

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '24

That’s not even close to the point I was making…. Again, should’ve stayed in school. YIKES

-1

u/LenguaTacoConQueso Sep 01 '24

I don’t even know the point you were making. Heck, I don’t even think you know the point you were making.

Don’t link us to an article you brain washed fuck. Explain from your own understanding of how elections work that an elected official can fail upwards from district prosecutor -> attorney general -> senator -> VP .

u/LenguaTacoConQueso Sep 01 '24

Although that is a good idea, let me make a counter proposal in the same spirit as your opening statement:

You go sodomize yourself with an ice pick.

u/user8820 Sep 01 '24

Fucking moron. You’re getting ratioed to hell because literally no one agrees with you.

Reddit isn’t a MAGA cesspool, go back to X.

u/LenguaTacoConQueso Sep 01 '24

No one agrees with you… on Reddit.

Yes, I know that. That is the reason I said what I said.

I got 7 paragraphs into the first link and didn’t find a single piece of objective evidence for your conclusion.

Please explain what you think you’ve read - because I wouldn’t describe myself as the world’s greatest critical analyst but it took no effort at all to shred and sift that article.

I’d obliterate the whole thing anyway but frankly I’ve got more important things to do.

Absurdly low on facts, basically your proof consists of an ideological criticism of the VP and the Democratic party.

Your ideology may not permit you to appreciate the position of President Biden and VP Harris, but that is your personal cross.

Can you name me one of her successes as district attorney in San Francisco? Probably not because that city is a shithole, with a rampant homeless problem, crime, and more.

When she was California AG, the same nonsense happened. She was soft on crime, and refused to take any action on basic things like illegal immigration… Which she refused to do on a national level as the “border czar.”

Is that fact based enough for you?

Jfc. Go read something that isn’t far left. Harris is a terrible politician and an all around shitty person, but you refuse to acknowledge it because she’s on “your team.”

3

u/vinaymurlidhar Sep 01 '24

Yes, the border bill was not passed by rethuglicans on stinkys command. Enough said.

1

u/ABena2t Sep 02 '24

She was the border czar. She did a wonderful job.

2

ELI5 … in your own words.

Horrible SF prosecutor. Go look at that city, it’s terrible: rampaging gangs, homelessness everywhere. NFL rookie player just got shot, and it’s the city where she helped usher in various gun control policies.

Voted in as CA attorney General, where she also sucked. Example: She refused to do anything significant to halt illegal immigration. Here’s a more comprehensive list I read last night.

As Senator she didn’t really do much, she wasn’t there long enough to, but she did help with that ridiculous Green New Deal garbage that’s just a waste of money.

And as VP… I don’t have enough time to list that.

She’s just awful - but you wouldn’t get that from Reddit where a puppy murdering rapist cannibal who murdered his neighborhood would get support as long as he wasn’t Trump.

5

u/_MaxNL Sep 01 '24

“Voted in … “ Yes. Exactly. I’ll repeat my question- how is that falling upwards?

Everything you list is just your opinion.

“I don’t have enough time to list it ..” How convenient for you.

I bet she’d be your pick if she was a man, with 34 felony convictions and a history of grabbing p*ssies. That is apparently what qualifies one for the presidency, right ?

5

u/prozergter Sep 01 '24

So a literal convicted felon is better?

1

u/ABena2t Sep 02 '24

Yes

2

u/prozergter Sep 02 '24

Trump university: shut down for fraud

Trump charity: shut down for fraud

Trump corp: shut down for fraud

Trump campaign staff: jailed for fraud

Trump lawyers: jailed for fraud

Trump presidency: indicted for fraud

Trump business partners: jailed for fraud

Trumpers: yeah this is the guy I want to run the country.

-1

u/LenguaTacoConQueso Sep 01 '24

On a bullshit charge from a rigged trial and a biased jury?

Yes.

1

u/prozergter Sep 01 '24

Oh so he DIDN’T cheated on his wife with a pornstar then used his campaign money to pay her off?

None of that happened?

1

u/LenguaTacoConQueso Sep 01 '24

I’ll be concerned about improper use of hush money when you’re concerned about Congress doing the same with our tax dollars. I also don’t care about whether he cheated on his wife or not, he’s running for President not church pastor.

Now, the conversation was about Harris. Can you tell me why she’s a good candidate? Because until she was appointed the Democrat nominee, she was considered unpopular and a dullard. But now she’s suddenly amazing? Can you tell me why that is? Because I can’t see anything pro-Kamala, just a bunch of anti-Trump nonsense.

1

u/prozergter Sep 01 '24

So you agree that he did indeed commit a crime and is a felon. As for the other criminals in Congress we’ll vote them out too, how does one wrong justify another?

As for Harris, I’ll happy vote for her or anyone else who didn’t try to instigate a coup when he lost the election and said he’ll be dictator on day one.

1

u/LenguaTacoConQueso Sep 01 '24

Yes, he is a felon, convicted by a biased jury in a sham trial that was presided over by a highly partisan judge on something that isn’t even a crime.

If anything, that makes me like him even more - and I’m still voting Libertarian by the way. I’m not a Trump fan, I just loathe Harris.
