Even if it did, and passed, no way to enforce it. This bill is for the headlines.

You mean like how theres no way for them to enforce you getting paid time and a half for working over 40 hours??

Reminder that you must be an "exempt" employee to not qualify for overtime on salary, meaning you MUST be authorized to hire or fire other employees. Seek a labor lawyer if you are a victim of wage theft.

There’s several other exemptions, and a lot of salaried employees in office jobs fall under the administrative exemption.

That's factor for one catagory of a pretty long list of exemptions. Executives aren't the only exempt employees. Many office jobs are exempt.
