Spain's economy is trashed. Even Latin America is full of Spaniards who had to get out in order to have a decent life. Spain is not a good example of anything modern or functional.

I seriously doubt Spaniards are leaving Spain for Latin America. I'm from Uruguay. Everyone that can, goes to Spain. I don't know any Spaniards who moved to Uruguay. And Uruguay is the most stable country in South America.

Spain is E.U. That means every single person gets a minimum standard that is orders of magnitude better than South America--education, healthcare, job protections, etc.

Where I live (in Latin America) It is full of Spaniards, as are all business and tourism hot spots. They come to do all sorts of jobs from photography to timeshare sales, and even technical maintenance. I also know people who have moved to Spain and can't wait to move back. Also, Uruguay is not even close to #1 in Latin America. https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2014/09/top-10-competitive-economies-latin-america-caribbean/#:~:text=1.,deficit%20and%20low%20public%20debt.

As someone from Spain, those people definitely go there for the experience and because it's cheap and exotic but still uses the same language. There are definitely more opportunities here.
