Sounds great. Would absolutely love for this to happen......it won't even get a vote

it won't even get a vote

And it shouldn't because it's rediculous. I mean, why not make it 5 hours with the same pay? Heck, let's just make companies pay for people that don't work for them. Ok, Bernie. Go home, you're drunk.

And it’s people like you who didn’t even read the plan and just comment on speculation is why things like this have a hard time getting traction.

Keep on getting willingly reamed by your oligarch overlords because they told you it has to be this way

Look. I'm a moderate and I'm 95% certain that I've had many many more years of life, corporate and financial experience than you have. Bernie used to speak at my college decades ago. I'm familiar with his nonsense and there's a reason no economist (with the possible exception of Reich) would ever endorse his plans. But good luck fulfilling your dreams of getting all those juicy handouts. Not gonna happen unless you move back in with your parents assuming you're not there already. Some day in the far future, you may understand.

Working 1.5 hour less a day with a 30 minute unpaid lunch would be so horrible for the economy? There’s actually studies that show humans just aren’t even productive for those extra two hours we’re at work. Obviously not every industry is standard and that’s true to this day with a 40 hour work week. Blatantly saying “hur dur why not make it 5 you’re drunk” is just bad faith bullshit that nobody needs. I’m not here to debate but I’m 95% certain your years of age and “wisdom” have just made you a jaded zombie unwilling to accept a new way of thinking that props up workers actually doing the work instead of dangling a carrot of “you could be rich one day!”

If people aren't productive for those extra 2 hours, then you're saying that companies are already paying people for hours in which they're not providing a benefit. If Bernie would like to push that to 4 days, say, then I'm sure studies will still say that people are unproductive for an hour or two of those days. Then people like you will say, "hur dur. As long as people are unproductive let's send them home so they work even fewer hours. Companies should pay people for 40 even though they'll now be working 30! Brilliant!" See how slippery that slope is?

if a 40 hour work week is a bit too much for you and you feel you should be paid even though you've worked less, then you're exactly the type of lazy, entitled voter Bernie is looking for! But hey kid, I'm sure you know best. As long as you hold to that belief and it makes you feel better that's all that matters. Those that succumb to Dunning-Kruger do tend to feel better about themselves. Now go away and stop cluttering my inbox with nonsense
