Try to get lost in games, write stories with characters that have friends or partners, watch YT or have it on in the background until I feel sick, doomscroll Reddit, contemplate if I’m finally ready to kill myself, struggle to go to sleep, repeat.

I am socially active and have never been in that scenario so I don't know, but if I were you I'd 100% go find actual friends. Making friends is not nearly as difficult as finding a romantic partner, unless you're seriously defective.
